Origin of Material: The material for AMIS0347 was provided by MSA Geoservices and is from an exploration project on the farm Nonnenwerth, 80 kilometres north of Mokopane, on the Northern Limb of the Bushveld Complex, Limpopo Province, South Africa.
Mineral and Chemical Composition: This material comes from the Main Magnetite Layer which is the lowest of the magnetite seams in the Upper Zone of the Bushveld Complex. The seam is a relatively pure crystalline magnetite with interstitial ilmenite, minor feldspars and pyroxenes
